About Blood Cancer Patient Advocates Academy
Blood Cancer Patient Advocates Online Learning Platform
All four international networks that comprise
LePAF – CMLAN, CLLAN, ALAN and MPNAN – are dedicated to developing the
capacities of their member organisations, by creating and providing relevant tools
and resources to help them achieve their goals at national, regional and even
international levels.
With the shared aim of improving the lives of
people with blood cancers across the world, all four networks have come
together to establish a long-term program, an international Online Academy to support
Blood Cancer Patient Advocates. The Academy will deliver comprehensive courses
on a wide range of relevant topics, helping network members to further develop
the knowledge and skills they need to gain more successful engagement and
greater recognition. All with the aim of sustaining and enhancing their
individual organisations and increasing advocacy impact in every corner of the
world.
Online Blended Learning
Recognising the wide diversity of knowledge and experience across their
member organisations, all four networks realised that it was critical to enable
a common learning structure and platform. Providing these resources to the
maximum number of participants will help to fill gaps, build skills, enhance
knowledge and support continued learning. Whilst also enabling greater communication
and interaction between the members.
Whether the participant is a new patient advocate, just starting their
organization who needs to understand the fundamentals. or is an experienced
advocate looking to further refine their expertise, the Online Academy is
suitable for anyone wanting to strengthen their advocacy skills and voices.
Enrolment and access to all the online
resources offered by the Blood Cancer Patient Advocates Academy is free for all
patient advocates within the four networks. There is no cost to participants,
no matter where they are based. This includes all live webinars, recorded
materials, course materials, interactive assignments, certificates, plus the online
community and more. Everyone can now learn from the professionals and experts.
